We tested our product on two unique soil types: Heavy Clay Loam, and a Lighter Sandier type of soil. We chose soil types that are fairly common and widely diverse to show you how Monty’s Soil Conditioner can work to eliminate compaction and improve the over-all nature of the soil which will ultimately lead to better drainiage, better water utilization, a more organic structure, etc.

The tests were conducted over a 32 day period.

Plus, what can you do to decrease the compaction that drought (and in Oklahoma and Texas - floods) have brought. We’ll look at both of these issues in this edition of our show, and We’ll make a special offer EXCLUSIVELY FOR LISTENERS of Inside Monty’s Garden.

Thanks to some interested soil/crop scientists, marketing hype and laboratory theory took a giant step forward as we recieved our first in a series of test data from a soil and agricultural lab, Wheat Tech. This week, Dennis joins with us as we explore the results of these test, how the science of Monty’s works, and what is on the horizon.

For those of you who are looking for answers for your tight compacted soils whether you are trying to get a yard establish or crack 200 bu. per acre for your corn crop, you owe it to yourself to listen to the science, the technology, behind Monty’s Plant Food Company.

Did you know that genetically your corn can generate yields as high as 400 bu p/ac, or soybeans at 200 bu. p/ac. It is possible, but not if we keep losing our yield potential to outside conditions. Dedman explains more this week as he discusses best management practices for keeping our glass (our yield potential) full. By using tools at your disposal may not add yield, but you will keep from losing it and when the grain trucks unload at the elevator, those gains pay the same $$ as any increase that you may have tried for.

I encourage to take a look at their website if you are involved with, or have an interest in Modern Agriculture. here is their link:

http://www.hpj.com/

As a native New Mexican/Texan I can tell you this is the bible for farming in the southern plains. Here is the article they wrote:

New technology secures bottom line for hay producers

Monty’s Plant Food Co., Louisville, Ky., introduces Monty’s Liquid Fertilizer.

Monty’s utilizes foliar feeding and HUMIC technology. While both areas had ample research proving their validity, no one had ever combined the two. The one-two punch of amending the plants rather than the soils and adding Humics to the plant profile has sped the rate of absorption, utilization, and prevented burning of tender plant tissues. By utilizing a unique manufacturing process, farmers can now afford to fertilize pasture land.

With the incorporation of Monty’s in their production, southern producers have noticed lowered use of traditional fertilizer, less leaching of needed nutrients, less run off, improved soil condition, and production equal or greater than traditional practices.

For more information, call 502-489-9888, or visit www.montysplantfood.com.

Humics hold promise and we’ll discuss it this week.
